Robert L. Rooks, DVM, MS Diplomate ACVS, Diplomate ABVP (Medical Director)
Dr. Rooks is the founder and current Medical Director of VCA All-Care Animal Referral Center. He is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Rooks has been instrumental in advancing the field of veterinary medicine. He has developed a surgical procedure and specialized implant for the treatment for hip dysplasia in dogs. Dr. Rooks has been recognized by his peers for his contributions to veterinary medicine, including and most notably, the American Animal Hospital Association's prestigious Charles E. Bild Practitioner of the Year Award. This is the highest award given by the American Animal Hospital Association.

VCA offers specialty consultations, diagnostics, therapeutic and surgical services. In addition, they provide 24-hour care including fully staffed emergency services open nights, weekends, and holidays.
[edit] Referral and Payment Policies
Local veterinarians refer patients to us for consultations or special procedures. Once pets are diagnosed and treated, they are referred back to their local veterinarian for follow-up care.
Payment is expected at the time of service. Cash, checks, all major credit cards and CareCredit are accepted. There is no billing. (Deposits are required for hospitalized pets)

VCA All-Care Animal Referral Center works closely with primary care veterinarians, sharing medical diagnoses, records, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans. This consultative relationship ensures that specialty or advanced care becomes part of a pet's permanent medical history at the primary care veterinarian's office. Ongoing communication also helps the primary care veterinarian provide follow-up care as well as monitor chronic conditions. We take pride in our open and prompt communication style with referring veterinarians so every patient gets optimal care.
